Bravo Les Filles

Bravo Les Filles – “Well done, girls!” – is the route Sasha DiGiulian and Mariana “Mango” Ordoñez have chosen for their latest climbing expedition. Their journey takes them to Madagascar’s Tsaranoro Valley, renowned for its towering granite walls of up to 800 meters that have drawn climbers for decades. In 1999, Lynn Hill, Nancy Feagin, Beth Rodden, and Kath Pike established the route. Now, Sasha and Mango aim to become the first all-female rope team to free climb it in its entirety, including the crux 8b pitch that the original female rope team was unable to free. Bravo Les Filles follows them as they pursue an unfinished dream, celebrating the power of ambition, inspiration, and female role models—and showing that some projects are simply postponed, not abandoned.
